AURORA

Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. She released her first song "Puppet" in 2012, followed by "Awakening" and "Under Stars". Her first major acclaim came in 2015 with the song "Runaway". The following year, 2016, was a breakthrough, when the successful debut album "All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend" was released, earning Aurora a reputation as one of Europe's most promising artists. In 2018, the EP "Infections Of A Different Kind" was followed by the album "A Different Kind Of Human". Her most recent one to date, "The Gods We Can Touch", was released in January 2022.

Aurora has other notable achievements to her credit. For example, she lent her unique voice to the north wind in the song "Into the Unknown" from Disney's "Frozen 2", which she sang live with Idina Menzel at the Oscars. She wrote the theme song for the film "The Secret Garden" with Colin Firth and Julie Walters. She is also known for her collaboration with The Chemical Brothers. Don't miss the performance of this fragile Nordic goddess at Metronome Prague 2023, which will undoubtedly be one of the highlights.
