ISLAND MINT

Enchanting, ecstatic music intertwined with the sun - that's how one could characterize the band Island Mint, which is a revelation on the Prague scene. The combination of sunshine pop and 60s garage rock with references to 90s shoegaze together with a warm analogue sound will bathe you in an ocean of childhood nostalgia.

The five-member formation, currently straddling Prague and Berlin, was formed by an evolution from a solo project only two years ago. In that time, they've managed to tour the Czech Republic and Slovakia, play major festivals and, most importantly, release their debut album Irreality (2022). On it, Island Mint portray a surreal landscape full of diverse feelings and dreams, fascinating sounds and especially the ubiquitous snails.
