JUNIOR JAN

Early in his career he was influenced by 80's & 90's new wave and hip hop styles, through which he worked his way up to dance music. Jan's current style definition includes house, tech-house and techno. He mixes them in his sets with surgical precision.

In 2005 he began to make a name for himself with his spontaneous performances behind the turntables and more recently as an up-and-coming producer whose honest work in the studio is all about one thing - entertaining people.

After the release of his first track in 2009, the progressive American label Liquid Grooves, part of the Proton network with automatic Beatport exclusivity, showed interest in him and now he is already releasing under foreign labels in Austria and Spain.

In addition to regular guest appearances on Dance Dance Radio, his career has seen him perform alongside some of techno's biggest stars such as Carl Cox, Umek, Dave Clarke, Adam Beyer, Nic Fanciulli, Marco V, Sébastien Léger and Tomcraft. His sound can be heard at all major events in the country and abroad. In 2008, he became a resident at two top dance clubs in Prague and founded the tradition of Rehab style nights at Mecca club, which is now in its fifth season.
