LAZER VIKING

Lazer Viking is a unique figure on the Czech music scene. The talented musician can be harsh and fierce, sometimes even introverted and melancholic, but he’s always genuine.

The multi-genre multi-instrumentalist Lazer Viking, real name Jakub Kaifosz, first spread his musical wings as a member of the surf-punk trio Wild Tides, with whom he released the EP "Hearts or Fire" in 2012 and the LP "Hung Loose" a year later. His first solo album "Radical Karaoke" (2015), still under the name Boy Wonder & The Teen Sensations, earned him a critics' choice nomination at the Apollo Awards.

At that time, he changed his pseudonym to Lazer Viking and released another successful album "Flesh Cadillac" (2016), again with an Apollo Awards nomination for best Czech album of the year. The third album "Drag" (2019), also featuring Crocodiles’ Chuck Roswell, was released. The last release so far is "Tunnel Vision" (2022), which was met with great acclaim.

Lazer Viking has had a long musical journey, from punk and metal to rock'n'roll and songwriting referencing the turn of the sixties and seventies. His work is full of emotions that can move the listener and draw them into another world. And if you haven't experienced his music live yet, you should definitely plan to attend a concert. It's a great sensation.
