NĚCO NĚCO

Něco něco is an electro-songwriting duo from Prague, consisting of singer Alžběta Trusinová and singer, guitarist and producer Tomáš Tkáč, who apart from singing also provides synthesizers and guitar. They live together in Prague and have two albums to their credit.

Něco něco play guitar-keyboard indie pop with clear links to Joy Division’s post-punk style, early New Order or Hot Chip. They released their debut album "Začíná" at the beginning of the coronavirus crisis and thanks to streams it brought them well deserved popularity.

Tomáš (otherwise active in the band Pris) and Alžběta (known from the band Neřvi mi do ucha) have hidden a lot of sonic details and everyday micro-stories in their debut record, all wrapped up in an atmosphere that is best experienced in headphones. In 2020, they received the Vinyla Award in the category of Act of the Year. In fact, their label Divnosti released eight albums by different artists in a year! They have released albums by Člověk Krve, also Ima Teva, Kvietah and Parta vynikajících lidí.

A year later their second album called "Snippets" came out.
