PARA

Para is a Slovak pop-rock band originally from Bratislava. Its founders are guitarist Matěj Starkov and singing bassist Matúš Vallo. The band has been active on the music scene for more than thirty years, with six albums, two DVDs and hit singles such as "Abstinent" and "Otec".

Para is one of the best touring bands in Slovakia. In the past they have collaborated with AMO, Jana Kirschner and Sendreiovci. They regularly perform at the summer festivals Pohoda, Grape, Žákovic Open or Majáles festival and other student events. In the autumn of 2015, they toured with the band Bez ladu a skladu. After the release of the album "Našou krajinou", Para went on a tour of the same name in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
