YASHA 96

YASHA 96 is the Berlin-based indie project of twenty-five-year-old Jáchym Kovář. His music, influenced by the sound of the 90s, combines guitar production with a specific style of songwriting. Contemporary elements such as 808 bass kicks, autotuned vocals and vocoders then complement the work, resulting in a unique sound that balances between rawness and dreaminess.

Through intimate, emotive and realistic songwriting, YASHA's debut album "The Boy Who Came Here From The Dust" takes an authentic and honest look at family relationships, the absence of love and toxic masculinity.
