It is with great pleasure that we announce that the Metronome Fair's accompanying programme, entitled Courage, is now complete, and we are proud to add that it is also the richest and most varied of all the editions to date. Along with a lot of great music, we have prepared a lot of fun and unique experiences for you. We want to not only entertain but also inspire visitors," said Alena Švejnohová, the dramaturge of the accompanying programme.
In addition to a variety of musical stars, you can look forward to outdoor art installations, exhibitions, an adventure escape game, various workshops, interesting film and theatre productions, a sports zone, a cache hunt or a hip-hop dance school. One of the most popular attractions is the sightseeing bike, which offers an unusual view of the festival and Prague.
One of the biggest draws among the exhibitions will undoubtedly be the unique realisation of the iconic Alien by artist H.R. Giger, which Metronome has prepared in cooperation with the Alšova South Bohemia Gallery. If you are brave enough, you will be able to confront the famous "Alien" face to face.
The authors of your favourite podcasts - Prostor X by Čestmír Strakatý, Pastoral Brothers, Dobrovský-Šídlo or Jan Bican - will be recording their festival specials right at the Prague Exhibition Grounds. Take courage and join the debate!
The Czech Olympic Committee is preparing a special zone about courage. It will be dedicated to Věra Čáslavská. There will be space for important non-profit organizations with current projects, to which we have dedicated a special part of News.
For the smaller and the youngest visitors we have prepared a special children's programme, which includes theatres, dance and art workshops, skatepark, pumptrack, photo corner and many other games and entertainment.
